| A local football coach nearly had to give up coaching for good after he was told he would have to have his leg amputated if he did not stop smoking.
Robert Gallagher 36, from Coatbridge, suffered from Deep Vain Thrombosis and his 40 a day habit led to a double bypass on arteries in his legs. He was told by doctors he had 18 months to kick the habit or he would lose a leg.
Robert tried many times to quit, but with the stress and pain he was in, nothing seemed to work. After many failed attempts using patches and gum, Robert came across Anne Penman Laser Therapy and believes it saved his life.
Says Robert, “The treatment was fantastic. I haven’t had a cigarette or craving since and my health has improved dramatically. I no longer have any pains in my legs, my breathing has improved, I’m no longer wheezy and I can finally give 100% of my efforts to coaching the Redwood FC Under 12’s team.”
The laser treatment is completely safe and painless as well as drugfree. Its success rate shows that 75% of quitters are still smokefree after six months, and 52% after a year.
